What Is HHC ?
HHC or Hexahydrocannabinol is a hydrodenated form of naturally occuring THC. It is less potent than conventional THC, or roughly 70-80% of its strength, making it a more powerful alternative than popular hemp-derived cannabinoids such as Delta 8 and Delta 10.
HHC is a cannabinoid similar to Delta 8. It exists naturally within the hemp plant in very small amounts. HHC does not contain THC.
When the Farm Bill became law in 2018, hemp and all its cannabinoids and derivatives became legal across the country. Hexahydrocannabinol, or HHC is a naturally existing cannabinoid found in hemp.
Even though structurally different, HHC and THC act similarly to each other in effects. Comparatively HHC is commonly reported to have effects in between those experienced when using Delta 8 and Delta 9. Users often report an energetic and euphoric feeling with less paranoia in comparison to Delta 9.
The length of HHC’s effects are very unique to the individual. As an average, we see high purity vapes lasting 1-5 hours and tinctures and edibles lasting 3-12 hours. Larger doses generally create longer lasting effects, especially with tinctures and edibles.
